Because that's what so much tech kept making us say.

So we're starting Watt Components to sell tech we'd happily use ourselves, at home and on the road. Our smart home kit works with open standards like Matter, so it fits the system you already use, and our travel tech works with the phone already in your pocket. We test every product ourselves before it goes on sale, write the setup guides we wished we'd had, and keep popular products in stock in the UK so they arrive fast.
What we care about
- Works with what you have. No lock-in to our app or our hub.
- Honest specs. If a battery lasts six months, we won't say a year.
- Help from people who use it. Questions are answered by someone who has the product at home.
